Why We Built This Site
Florida gives the public broad access to court records under Florida Statute 119.01 and Article I, Section 24 of the Florida Constitution. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you need. In Volusia County, the Clerk of the Circuit Court in DeLand handles circuit civil, family law, probate, criminal, and county court case records. The Volusia Sheriff's Office manages the jail roster and active warrants. The Volusia County Division of Corrections runs the jail itself. Add the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and other state agencies, and the picture gets crowded fast. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to the Volusia County Clerk of the Circuit Court, the Seventh Judicial Circuit, the Volusia Sheriff's Office, or any Florida state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the Volusia County Clerk of the Circuit Court or the issuing government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office at 101 North Alabama Avenue, DeLand, FL 32724, but the document has to come from them.
